Happy New year to all Members.
An exciting future is in prospect for the club with a full racing programme planned and the new jetty in place. The sailing begins with the Blackwater Icicle hosted this year by our neighbours at Maylandsea Bay Sailing club on the 20th January. Competitors and Viewers will be pleased that our Galley and bar will be open on that day serving refreshments. Earlier in the day at 9.30am there will foreshore clean up in Maylandsea which club members are encouraged to take part in free tea and coffee will available to those taking part.
On the sailing front our dinghy series racing begins on the 18th March. Cruiser launching will be arranged on suitable dates.
This year cadets will also be enjoying joint racing with Maylandsea Bay Sailing Club. Early in the season the club will hold safety boat training.
A significant date for your diary is the Regatta Week to begin on the 22nd July book your place early to avoid disappointment.

Ken Johnson (the architect of the original Jetty) has officially opened our new and improved Jetty.
